MARION COUNTY WARRIORS

Head coach: Joey Mathis (20-8 in two years here and overall)

Returning starters: 5 offensive, 6 defensive

Key players: WR/DL Ermiyas Bowdon (6-2, 220), OL/LB Manny Burkes (5-10, 240), RB/LB Brett Nelson (5-9, 180), RB/LB Alex Nunez (5-11, 175), QB Toney Sampson (6-3, 190).

Team strengths: There is no shortage of potential playmakers on offense, led by Sampson, a three-year starter at quarterback and a dual threat. Nelson, a junior, will become a much bigger part of the offense after the graduation of 2017 state Mr. Football finalist Jacob Saylors.
