Ric FlairRic Flair, one of professional wrestling’s best-known entertainers, returns to the ring tonight, May 30, in Ringgold, Ga., and fans have a chance to get photos and autographs from the 16-time world champion.
Flair has drawn crowds in Madison Square Garden and arenas around the world. In Wrestle-Jam at the Colonnade, he and Johnny Rokk will take on Paul Lee and Fi-Fi the Maid in the main event to determine which one is the real Natureboy, a name claimed by both top wrestlers.
According to organizers, “This will be the only time (Flair) will be in a small venue anywhere close to Chattanooga.”
Wrestle-Jam is an American Wrestling Federation/World of Wild event. Matches will also feature wrestlers with stints in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, World Wrestling Entertainment, Extreme Championship Wrestling and World Championship Wrestling.
The meet-and-greet starts at 5:30 p.m. Bell time is at 7:30 p.m. Also on the card are DOC of Aces & Eights; former world tag-team champions Ricky and Robert, the Rock-&-Roll Express; Hardcore Legend Raven and Ironmann.
Tickets are $20 general admission, $35 ringside. A limited number of backstage passes are available for $25 (admission ticket also required). Backstage passes may be purchased at the door or by calling the AWF at 706-935-8508. A backstage pass is not required for the meet-and-greet.
There will be a charge for photos and autographs: $20 for instant photos; $10 for an autographed 8×10 handout photo or 11×17 event flier; $10 for an autograph on any item brought from home.
