The eighth annual Pink! gala had net proceeds that totaled $325,000, according to a news release.
The proceeds will be used to benefit an expansion in surgical services for breast cancer patients at Memorial.
The Memorial Health Care System Foundation and the Hamico Foundation presented the latest gala on Feb. 2 at the Chattanooga Convention Center.
About 1,200 attended.
“We are grateful for the community’s support of this event,” Jennifer Nicely, Memorial Foundation president, said. “Pink!, a celebration of life for breast cancer patients and survivors, has raised almost $2 million since 2006 to ensure our community has access to the most advanced breast cancer treatments available.”
The next Pink! will take place Jan. 25, 2014.
