Monday night’s series opener between the Chattanooga Lookouts and Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp at AT&T Field was postponed due to unplayable field conditions caused by excessive rain over the weekend.
The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Wednesday, with the first of two seven-inning games scheduled to begin at 5:15. The scheduled Most Improved Student Parade will take place between Wednesday’s contests.
Before Monday’s game was postponed, the Lookouts announced that pitcher Ryne Harper was promoted to Triple-A Rochester (N.Y.) and replaced on the roster by pitcher Cody Stashak, who comes up from high Single-A Fort Myers, Fla.
