Whitfield County Board of Education members this afternoon unanimously approved hiring Assistant Superintendent Danny Hayes to replace outgoing Superintendent Katie Brochu.
Mr. Hayes said he is “extremely excited” to have the opportunity to head the school system.
He will start in the position June 1.
