Q: Dad, What are your thoughts on taking a year off to travel or whatever after graduating college?
A: Who will pay for this adventure? Seriously, such a thing was not an option for me and probably isn’t for most people with bills to pay and groceries to buy. Taking time off to travel or find yourself can be a good thing, but remember employers might be looking for experience, and they might understand why a college student doesn’t have it, but not someone who has been out of school for awhile.
