Emergency personnel respond to a man who was shot Friday afternoon at 609 Tunnel Blvd.The Chattanooga Police Department has released the identity of a person shot on Tunnel Boulevard on Friday afternoon.
Jarian Nelson, 28, told investigators he was was shot around 1:30 p.m. Friday as he was walking out of a business at 609 Tunnel Blvd. He was taken to the hospital by private vehicle with injuries not considered life-threatening, police said.
About 20 minutes later, another man was stabbed at 1701 Dodson Ave. That victim also went by private vehicle to the hospital, police said. The victim’s name and condition have not been released.
