Pro boxer arrested on sexual battery charge at Atlanta mall
ATLANTA – Professional boxer Adrien Broner was arrested on a misdemeanor sexual battery charge Tuesday at Lenox Square, Atlanta police said.
A woman told officers she “had been inappropriately groped by a man later identified as Mr. Adrien Broner,” spokesman Donald Hannah said.
Broner, 28, denied the accusation, police said, and was taken to the Fulton County Jail without incident, Hannah said.
“At this time there is no additional information to provide regarding this case,” police said.
