A Marietta, Ga., woman is charged with possessing approximately 100 pounds of marijuana that Bradley County detectives found in an Interstate 75 traffic stop.
According to Sheriff’s Department spokesman Bob Gault, drug interdiction agents spotted the woman’s car moving at about 40 p.m. and weaving Wednesday night near mile marker 27. When the officers pulled over the vehicle and the driver rolled down the window, they could smell marijuana, Mr. Gault said.
The driver gave consent to search and four large plastic bags containing the drug were found.
Kemoy K. Josephs, 28, was charged with possession of marijuana for resale, impeding the flow of traffic and failure to maintain lane. Bond is set at $20,000 and her next court appearance is Feb. 23 in General Sessions Court.
