The Chattanooga Police Department Regulatory Bureau and the Hamilton County Anti-Drug Coalition conducted a series of alcohol sales compliance checks at several area convenience stores on March 5.
Police sent an 18-year-old buyer into 15 stores where she attempted to buy beer. Eleven stores passed the check and refused the sale. Four stores failed the check and will be cited to the beer board at a later date.
