A home-cooked mealIf you want a good meal in Dunlap, stop at the Cookie Jar Cafe, 1887 Kelly Cross Road. From the road, this classic country restaurant looks like someone’s house on a farm — and that’s no mistake. The hospitality and food is like being back at Mama’s house. And just like Mama’s house, you’d better finish your veggies so you can enjoy some of Cookie Jar’s amazing desserts. We’re talking coconut, chocolate and butterscotch pies, and more.
