THIS WEEK IN EDUCATION NEWS

This week, the Times Free Press is celebrating more than 50 of the top students in Southeastern Tennessee and North Georgia.

Students such as Center for Creative Art’s Zavier Chavez, who will be attending Harvard University in the fall, and Heritage High’s Saulye Nichols, who was born Kazakhstan and adopted by a local family, are being highlighted through the annual Top of the Class project.

The project highlights 51 local valedictorians. Through Sunday, June 16, the Times Free Press will feature photos, personal profiles and stories about the valedictorians in the newspaper each day.

For a complete list of the valedictorians, visit www.timesfreepress.com/topoftheclass/2019.
