Auburn University will celebrate its 2010 BCS national championship inside Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday, Jan. 22 at 2 p.m. Eastern.
The celebration is scheduled to last approximately an hour, and admission is free. All seating is general admission and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Auburn captured its first national championship since 1957 by defeating Oregon 22-19 Monday night in the BCS title game. The Tigers came very close in several seasons in between, finishing No. 3 nationally in 1983, No. 4 in 1993 and No. 2 in 2004.
All Jordan-Hare gates will open at noon Eastern, two hours prior to the event.
Public parking will be available on the hayfields off South Donahue Drive, and there will be shuttles back and forth from the hayfields before and after the celebration. A limited number of national championship posters will be distributed free of charge as fans exit the stadium following the event.
