A Mexican restaurant in Dalton, Ga., has been operating as the hub of a cocaine distribution operation, Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office officials said today.

Four people – including the owner of Los Caporales Mexican Restaurant at 601 Fleming St. – were arrested after a series of search warrants were executed simultaneously Monday morning, Sheriff Scott Chitwood said in a news release.

Restaurant owner Ruben Ramos-Mendez, 37; Luis Sierra, 22; Esmerelda Sierra, 21; and Lorenzo Terrazas-Garcia, 39, all have been arrested and charged with trafficking in cocaine and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

All four are being held in the Whitfield County Jail, authorities said.
