Iconic works from three gifted composers mark the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera’s performance of “Bach, Beethoven and Brahms,” scheduled tonight, Jan. 21, at the Tivoli Theatre.

The evening’s special guest is violinist Arnaud Sussmann, whose playing has been described as “a rare combination of sweet and smooth that can hypnotize a listener. His clear tone [is] a thing of awe-inspiring beauty, his phrasing spellbinding.”

Born in Strasbourg, France, and now based in New York City, Sussmann trained at the Conservatoire de Paris and the Juilliard School with Boris Garlitsky and Itzhak Perlman.
