The Animal Emergency & Specialty Hospital of Chattanooga has moved to a new and bigger location at 6393 East Lee Highway in Chattanooga.
The veterinary hospital relocated last week into a 10,000-square-foot facility customized with new state-of-the-art equipment for advanced patient care. Dr. Nikki Branam, operations manager for the practice, said new vet hospital will be open around the clock with GE QX/i H1 4-slice CT Scanner, fully-equipped surgical suites, ultrasound, endoscope and advanced digital radiography.
“This is an important step towards ensuring we can continue to offer the most advanced diagnostics and treatment options to our patients and to referring veterinarians in Chattanooga and surrounding areas,” she said.
Founded as an emergency hospital and now seeing referred patients in the specialties of emergency and critical care, surgery, oncology, dermatology, and avian and exotics, the veterinary team is led by Medical Director DeAnne Fanta, DVM. The Chattanooga vet hospital is one of four owned by the Cedar Park, Tex.,-based Innovetive Petcare, which has the financial backing of Prospect Partners, LLC, a Chicago-based private equity firm.
