People have not been quiet about the Flying Squirrel Bar since it opened its large wooden doors in 2013. At first, people raved about its drinks, citing the cucumber-infused gin or the selection of craft beers. Next, this bar rooted in Chattanooga’s Southside was complimented for its friendly service.

As soon as brunch was introduced to the Squirrel’s Sunday offerings, a wait of at least 30 minutes became an expectation for regulars. But the sweet potato hash and Sriracha Bloody Marys are worth the wait.

Most recently the bar was named the Best Designed Bar and Cafe in a national competition. And now, the Squirrel boasts a tasty and creative dinner menu.

Not many places in Chattanooga offer the calm, sexy atmosphere of the Flying Squirrel, which successfully couples craft beer, seasonal and fresh cocktails with a top-shelf menu built upon local ingredients.
