Didn’t like Parker’s Jan. 6 equivalency
[Star] Parker’s opinion in the Jan. 6 TFP (Free Press editorial page) only adds to the problem of the lie that led to the Jan. 6, 2021, attempted insurrection.
Additionally, she lends validity to the undermining of our electoral process. She spins and diverts attention from the real issue like a mother duck protecting her ducklings. She presents a stellar example of false equivalency, comparing the attack to destruction of a statue of the murderous Christopher Columbus. Nice pivot, Ms. Parker.
Her nonsense continued as she repeats her cult leader’s intimating the bipartisan Jan. 6 committee as a “which hunt.” Then she reinforces the big lie the 2020 presidential (and only the presidential) election was fraudulently won by stating: “Suspicions about the improprieties in the electoral process, which led up to the Jan. 6 incident, were and are quite justified … .” That quote is a lie, plain and simple. Those “suspicions” were manufactured by Trump and his cult and repeated incessantly in the tradition of Goebbels. The truth is that more than 60 court cases (including rejection by the Supreme Court) rejected claims of “suspicions” regarding the integrity of the election.
Parker’s writing was horrible, if ever I have read any.

Right to lifers don’t care about children
Sundays’ edition of the TFP had a front-page photo of the “Right To Life” event in Chattanooga. It appears the Supreme Court may well let you have your way – resulting in more children being born who will need services, lots of services.
So will all of you who marched, or who support the right to life movement, become foster parents? Adoptive parents? Will you lobby for higher taxes to ensure public schools are appropriately funded, support health care for any who can’t afford quality health insurance, lobby for increased preschool education?
I can’t hear you, and why not? Because once these babies are born and you give out a few free diapers and cribs, you are nowhere to be seen.
Tell me this … how do you get up every morning and look at yourself in the mirror?
