Hedrick is the right pick for circuit judge
The citizens of Hamilton County are fortunate to have a person of such outstanding character in Judge Kyle Hedrick serving as Circuit Court judge.
I have known him and his family for more than 15 years and have watched as he led our church youth group as youth minister, helping families in times of need with compassion and wisdom. I have worked side-by-side with him serving others in medical mission efforts in Nicaragua and in Hurricane Katrina disaster relief efforts in New Orleans. He cares about people and is kind and respectful to all people.
Judge Hedrick is a hard worker and a man of great integrity who has raised his three children to be kind, compassionate and respectful.
As Gov. Haslam acknowledged by his appointment in December, he is the right choice for Circuit Court judge. Not only does he have the experience as judge since his appointment, he also has served for several years as administrative hearing officer for the cities of East Ridge, Red Bank, Collegedale and Chattanooga.
Please join me in voting for Judge Kyle Hedrick in the upcoming May election. He’s the right choice for the citizens of Hamilton County.

Rely on compassion to reduce gun deaths
The young people being recruited by the media and liberal Democrats to carry their water need some adults to help them get their facts straight.
Additional gun laws will not save one more life. Young people need to look to more relevant contributors to the crises in our country, namely violent computer games, movies, rap music, fatherless youth, disrespect for parents, teachers and other authorities and God’s Ten Commandments, for starters.
We don’t need bigger government, we need more compassion and morals.

Catherine White has right qualities for circuit judge
I first met Catherine “Cate” White when she stopped one Sunday morning on a street corner where I was holding up a sign asking for money.
Ms. White gave me money, but also invited me to go to church with her, which is where she was headed. I agreed to go. Since that day Ms. White has taken me to church each week with her.
Ms. White also assisted me in securing Social Security benefits, as all I had to live off of was my pension through the Veteran’s Administration. She also helped me obtain low-income housing, as I was homeless, and with the help of her church, obtained furnishings for my apartment. She further helped me to get a badly needed surgical procedure, stayed at the hospital during the entire procedure, oversaw my recovery in the hospital afterward, obtained my necessary medicine and took me to my follow-up appointments.
She loves God and her actions show it.
I recommend her for the judgeship in her campaign for Circuit Court Judge Division IV, because I know she will do what is right and do it with consideration and kindness toward everyone involved.

Diane Black’s ‘tough’ stances aren’t so smart
Diane Black says she is a “tough grandmother.” I agree.
You have to be tough to help pass a tax cut that saddles our grandchildren with another trillion-plus dollars of debt.
You also have to be a “tough grandmother” to help pass a law allowing old “dirty” diesels to pollute the air our grandkids breathe.
I guess I am not a “tough grandparent” as I want to leave a better world, financially and environmentally, for future generations.
