Brandon Heath’s latest album was not named randomly.
“One of the things that bothers me about this world is that we’re all in this for ourselves,” said Heath in his online biography. “We’re looking out for No. 1. I don’t want to be alone; I want to live life with other people. God even says it’s better to join together in service to him.”
So in the spirit of joining together, Heath titled his second release under the Reunion Records label “What if We.” His first album, “Don’t Get Comfortable,” was released in 2006. It included one of 2007’s most played singles, “I’m Not Who I Was.”
The Nashville native will play Sunday afternoon, for one show only, at Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park.
Heath and songwriter/producer Jason Ingram recently raised more than $61,000 for Nashville flood victims with a concert at Fellowship Bible Church in Brentwood, Tenn.
Heath is a two-time Grammy nominee and the winner of four Dove Awards, which honor gospel music artists.
