For Mike Holsomback, it is important to not only understand his story, but to tell it as well. His vehicle is his art.
An exhibition of his realistic portraits and figurative collages will go on display Friday at Asher Love Gallery.
Mr. Holsomback has been known for his vigorously painted canvases that contain narratives. Sometimes the story is obvious, other times it is veiled and often there is a “messenger” whose purpose is to deliver the information.
