CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Stephen Curry is playing across town against the Bobcats.
But College of Charleston guard Andrew Goudelock is doing a perfect impersonation of the former Davidson sharpshooter against the Mocs.
The Cougars lead the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga 56-36 at halftime of a quarterfinal game of the Southern Conference tournament.
Goudelock leads all players with 24 points. He is 9-of-12 from the floor including 6-of-8 from the 3-point line. Tony White Jr. has 12 points. The Cougars are shooting 64.5 percent from the floor an 12-of-18 from the arc.
Senior Ty Patterson leads the Mocs with 10 points and Keegan Bell has nine.
UTC trailed by as many as 20 points with eight minutes to go in the half. UTC pulled within 45-35 on a quick 9-0 run. But the Cougars closed the half on an 11-0 run including a 3 by Andrew Lawrence just before the buzzer.
