The Choo Choo Chorus, local chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, recently madeits third annual year-end contribution to the Candlelighters support group in the amount of $4,000. The acapella four-part harmony group has existed for more than 50 years in town and annually provides support to a local charity with funds raised from its Christmas show.

This year’s contribution was made despite being unable to perform a show, bringing the total dollars given to Candlelighters to $13,000 over the past three years. This group uses 97% of all contributions to aid families dealing with childhood cancer diagnoses. They may be reached at the Candlelighters Family Support Group.
