Hamilton County school bus involved in multi-vehicle crash

A Hamilton County school bus was involved in a multi-vehicle crash early Monday morning, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.

The school bus driver sustained a small cut on the wrist, but no injuries were reported among the students on the bus, said police information officer Sydney Hamon in an email to the Chattanooga Times Free Press.

Police responded to the scene at Mountain View Road at Lee Hwy at 7:45 a.m. Three vehicles were involved, and the driver of the vehicle that hit the bus received multiple citations.

All three of the vehicles had damage on the front driver’s side and were towed. All drivers and passengers were evaluated by emergency personnel on the scene.
