Attack on Thurman offensive, tasteless
The personal attack on school board member Rhonda Thurman (Times Free Press, Dec. 27) was offensive and tasteless.
The writer would have us believe that a college education equates to intelligence. Nothing could be further from the truth, as is witnessed daily, across our nation. Give me an ounce of common sense over educated foolishness any day of the week.
Fortunately, Ms. Thurman is an intelligent individual who always displays common sense. Chattanooga is fortunate to have her. I only wish her next endeavor will be to find an antidote for elitism.
