On the 38th anniversary of the Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion in America, U.S. Rep. Chuck Fleischmann, R-Tenn., joined the March for Life rally today in Washington D.C.
Fleischmann, a Chattanooga attorney, said he opposes the Roe v. Wade court decision and will work to limit any federal funding for abortions.
“It is our belief that life is sacred – from the moment of conception until the grave – that separates us from so many others in this world,” Fleischmann said. “We must continue to work to give a voice to the voiceless, and prohibit taxpayer dollars from funding abortions in this country.”
