102 Walnut St.; Reasons include an employee cracking raw eggs and failing to wash their hands before changing gloves, sanitizer buckets and three sinks found at zero parts per million of chlorine. Butter was left out overnight at 70 degrees, half and half at 50 degrees and grab-and-go salad at 44 degrees. Roast beef and turkey were not date marked, and the cutting board was badly scored. A sausage container was in poor repair and cracked, and an employee’s personal items were stored in a bag in a box rack.
532 Lookout St. Reasons include 8-day-old pimento cheese found in fridge (discarded, 3 pounds). An inadequate seal was found around the back door that can allow for pest entry. A fly strip was seen over a bag of onions, and knives were stored in a sanitizer bucket. Gaskets on the low boy refrigerator were in poor repair, and cardboard was being used to line shelves. The hot water was not operable at the hand sink, and a leak was found in the three sink and prep sink faucets. Debris and equipment in the back dock area can allow for pest harborage. Employee phones and personal items were stored on multiple surfaces. Buildup was found on a kitchen vent, and a cracked light shield was found in the kitchen area.
