The Chattanooga Lady Red Wolves closed a four-game road swing with a 4-0 win at Southern Soccer Academy on Wednesday night, clinching at least a share of the USL W League’s South Central Division title.
It was also the third match in five days for the Lady Red Wolves, who beat Birmingham WFC 2-0 on Saturday and lost 2-0 to Tennessee SC on Monday. In Wednesday’s win at Marathon Park in Austell, Georgia, Sinoxolo Cesane scored twice and Sasha Carbone and Jada Cooper each added a goal.
Chattanooga is 8-2-1 with 25 points against league competition with one regular-season match to play — against South Georgia Tormenta FC on June 30 at CHI Memorial Stadium in East Ridge — and the Lady Red Wolves will secure the division’s playoff berth with a win.
