The Erlanger Health System Foundations, which are raising money to build a new Children’s Hospital, elected Chattanooga attorney Christie Kizer Burbank as council chair. She succeeds outgoing chair John W. Sorrow, who praised his successor and four new directors chosen for the nonprofit, fundraising arm of Erlanger.

“Like anything associated with Erlanger, it all just keeps getting better better foundation team, better board members, better board chair, better health system, and soon a better Children’s Hospital,” Sorrow said.

Burbank, a healthcare regulatory and transactional attorney with Miller & Martin and the mother of two small children, has served on the council for the past three years. She is joined on the foundation board with four new members: Lynn Mosier Bryant, a sales associate with Worth New York and W by Worth since 2007 who currently serves as president of Chattanooga Tri Delta Alumnae; Matt Hullander, owner of Hullco Inc., since 2007, who also owns Chestnut Holdings and B&M Development, both real estate development companies; Jeff Jackson, the new market president for First Tennessee Bank in Chattanooga; and Lisa Norris, a local artist who is the daughter of Liz Norris and great-granddaughter of T. C. Thompson, founder of T. C. Thompson Children’s Hospital.
