A different race
Politics and sports have long been linked, and that was even before steroids and the BCS debate (Buh-dum-da! Thank you, I’ll be here all week.) A couple of the really big (seriously) names that were in significant races on Tuesday:
– Former NFL offensive lineman Jon Runyan won a U.S. House seat in New Jersey;
– Former NBA player Chris Dudley had a slim lead in a race that was too close to call last night for governor in Oregon (If he pulls it out he’ll be the No. 1 overall pick in Obama’s hoops league draft);
