The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football team got off to a hot start Saturday night at Finley Stadium, scoring on its first four possessions on the way to a 63-0 nonconference win over Stetson.

It was the home opener for the Mocs, who earned their first victory of the season on their third try after a pair of lopsided losses at Memphis and Tennessee Tech.

UTC beat writer Gene Henley breaks down the winning performance by the Mocs, whose last chance to tune up for Southern Conference play comes next Saturday when they visit Tarleton State in Stephenville, Texas, for a 7 p.m. Eastern kickoff. Tarleton State (4-0), which reached the second round of the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs last year, is ranked third in both FCS polls listed by the NCAA.
