East Ridge City Manager J. Scott Miller will retire in January, concluding a 45-year career in public service that includes two tenures leading the city.
Miller first served as East Ridge’s city manager from 2016 until his retirement in 2018 before returning as interim city manager in late 2022 and later resuming the role permanently. City officials said Miller plans to remain in office to assist with a smooth transition while his successor is selected.
