Same score as 2012
Hamilton County Schools Superintendent Dr. Justin Robertson put the expected spin on the district’s 2025 ACT score earlier this week, but the truth is county students haven’t made much progress on the national standardized test in nearly a decade and a half.
“The ACT performance of our students reflects their hard work and resilience, and the commitment of our educators to support every learner,” he said in a statement. “I’m proud to see an upward trend from last year.”
The district, in fact, improved its average composite score from 18.7 to 18.9, while the state average composite score remained static at 19.3.
