The Baylor School football program is reloading at quarterback.
Keegan Croucher, who is rated as a four-star college prospect and has played the past three seasons at Cheshire Academy in Connecticut, announced his plan to transfer to Baylor on his social media accounts Friday.
The 6-foot-4, 205-pound junior committed to Ole Miss in October, choosing the Rebels over Oregon and Penn State. He also had offers from Georgia, Indiana and Kentucky among others.
Croucher guided Cheshire Academy to a 7-3 record this past season, passing for 1,692 yards with 16 touchdowns and six interceptions while completing 69% of his attempts. He added 211 rushing yards.
Originally from Fonda, New York, Croucher is ranked among the top 12 quarterbacks in the 2027 class by multiple recruiting services. He was a three-sport athlete at Cheshire Academy, also playing baseball and basketball.
