NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Titans released starting center Lloyd Cushenberry on Wednesday with a failed physical designation.

It was one of two moves announced by the Titans as they also released veteran safety Xavier Woods.

Cushenberry, 28, had two seasons left on a four-year, $50 million contract he signed after spending four years with the Denver Broncos. He started 23 times over two seasons in Nashville, but an Achilles’ tendon injury limited him to eight games in 2024.

Woods, 30, spent just one season in Tennessee, playing in 11 games (with 10 starts) for the Titans while missing six because of a hamstring injury. Woods had two interceptions and 39 tackles a year after totaling a career-high 119 tackles with the Carolina Panthers.
