I’m voting for a governor who will put deposits on aluminum cans and plastic bottles. Tennessee is so trashy. Help, help!
Every American should read the editorial (Free Press, 3/9) on Adam Smith’s “Wealth of Nations.” Every day we pay the cost of ignoring Smith’s economic wisdom.
Compromise for the “fall back!” Instead of one hour, fall back one half-hour. Keep it the same year-round. Everybody happy!
Thanks for your political cartoon, Clay Bennett, showing blood coming out from under the office door of the Board of Peace. You’re so right.
Clay Bennett’s cartoon in Sunday’s paper (3/8) insinuated that Trump was going to invade Fulton County, Georgia. Considering all the corruption there, it’s probably a good idea!
Rep. Ogles, didn’t you learn in school that the pilgrims were immigrants from England when they landed in Massachusetts?
Erlanger, it would really help with the waiting/visiting experience if you installed wireless repeaters in the emergency room area and hallways. Reasonably priced and support all carriers.
It’s amazing how many people still don’t realize we have a dedicated gluten-free bakery in the heart of downtown Chattanooga. Thank you, Carving Rock Kitchen!

Sen. Bo Watson, your efforts to keep little kids from going to school is just plumb mean. Can’t imagine asking an 8-year-old for their passport.
Reneau is 100% correct on fluoridation. Politic$, not science, supports it. Fluoride isn’t a nutrient or tooth-essential. Like all drugs, fluoride has adverse side effects.
Read John Crisp (Times, 3/11). U.S. meddling in 1953 caused Iran’s problem. Republicans said Obama’s 2015 nuclear deal was working. Mistake, Trump, repeat mistakes.

Aren’t we “lucky”? We get to see all of the Georgia political commercials and the Tennessee ones too!
Question for N. Georgia voters: If Trump ran over your momma, shot your dog and smashed your car to pieces, you’d still support him, right?
Marjorie Taylor Greene’s estimated net worth increased from $700k to $20-$25 million from 2021 to late 2025. Stock trading by reps should be illegal.
Sen. William Fulbright: “Power confuses itself with virtue … we are still acting like Boy Scouts dragging reluctant old ladies across streets they do not want to cross.”
Ironic contradiction that some trumpet the constitutional war power Congress was granted, but dismiss the people’s subsequently enacted Second Amendment right to bear arms.
HHS Secretary RFK Jr. will never get my sugary glazed Dunkin Donut unless he pries it loose from my cold, dead hand.
I own an electric car. I hope the price of oil goes to $400 per barrel for all you pollution-loving tailpipe suckers.
So Mamdani finds he needs the police force he’s cutting funds for. How prime. He didn’t call psychologists to handle protesters at his house. Wonder why?
I really try hard to stay in my own lane, but it seems everyone else is swerving out of theirs trying to hit me, and I’m not talking about traffic.
Why are sexual promiscuity, gender confusion, fetal homicide, illegal trespassing and subsidized laziness so important to Democrats other than keeping them elected?
