Georgia freshman cornerback Tyrique Stevenson, one of 14 early enrollees for the Bulldogs, was arrested early Sunday morning on a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct.

Stevenson was arrested by Athens-Clarke County Police at 2:42 a.m. He was released within an hour after posting $1,000 bond, according to the Athens-Clarke County Jail booking report.

A 6-foot, 202-pounder from Miami Southridge High School, Stevenson was a five-star prospect in the 2019 signing class according to 247Sports.com, which rated him the nation’s No. 2 cornerback and the No. 20 prospect overall. He was the No. 37 overall prospect in the 247Sports composite rankings.

Stevenson is the third Bulldogs football player with a misdemeanor arrest within the last month. Redshirt sophomore defensive back Latavious Brini was charged with simple battery Feb. 28 after allegedly slapping a man in the face outside an Athens nightclub, while redshirt sophomore inside linebacker Jaden Hunter was charged last Wednesday for driving on a suspended or revoked license and for illegal stopping.
