Fuse Chicago piano blues with full-throttle rockabilly and punk and you have The Claudettes, who will headline Nightfall on Friday, June 28, in Miller Park, 928 Market St.
Johnny Iguana pounds the piano alongside singer Berit Ulseth, with Michael Caskey on drums and Zach Verdoorn playing bass and guitar.
Iquana is also in Grammy-nominated groups Chicago Blues: A Living History and the Muddy Waters 100 Band.
The Claudettes released “Dance Scandal at the Gymnasium” last year and have recorded a new album due out later this year.
Opening for The Claudettes at 7 p.m. will be local singer Amber Fults. Nightfall is free.
