Let’s handle our business.

Here’s today’s A2 column from some round-faced fella.

It was more than likely a moot point, Thursday’s ramblings of whether the Mocs could get an at-large bid in a one-bid league like the SoCon. It’s now a dead point after the Mocs lost at home to UNCG last night.

To this week’s Rushmores:

Rushmore of iconic numbers in sports: MJ’s 23, Gretzky’s 99, Dale Sr.’s 3 – Yes, Dale over Babe because there was a stretch in the 1990s that you could not pass three cars on the interstate and not see either a sticker of The Intimidator’s 3 or Calvin (or Hobbs) sprinkling on The Intimidator’s 3 – and Jimmy Chitwood’s 15. Hickory.

Rushmore of what to say when someone sneezes: God bless you, Gah Zoon Tite. (That’s how we spell it at our house, anyway.) You are soooo good looking, and Scat.

Rushmore of sports movie villains: See below.

Rushmore of movies/TV shows with “love” in the title: “Love Boat,” “Love Actually,” “I Love Lucy,” and “Dr. Strangelove.” (Side question: Which is the worst Oscar rip-off that won for best picture, “Dances with Wolves” over “Goodfellas” or “Shakespeare in Love” over “Saving Private Ryan”? Discuss.)

To the bag.
