Authorities in Franklin said they have “more questions than answers,” Thursday afternoon, after human remains were discovered in a local neighborhood.
A driver reported finding a skull near the side of the Road of the Roundtable, not far from the entrance of the Avalon subdivision at about 3:15 p.m., according to Franklin police.
Detectives and the Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that the skull was human. Investigators have found more human remains nearby, as well as evidence, a Franklin Police Department news release said.
