(AP Photo/Bebeto Matthews)Chattanooga’s Hamilton Place campus is slated to add women’s performance apparel retailer Athleta by the end of this year, according to CBL Properties.
Athleta is set to open a nearly 4,000-square-foot store at Hamilton Corner at 2115 Gunbarrel Road.
In addition to selling apparel in its stores, Athleta offers free community classes and events, ranging from yoga to higher impact classes, CBL said.
“Our brand stands for inclusivity and encouraging women and girls to come together and uplift one another,” said Jennifer Steichen, vice president of store and store operations at Athleta.
Athleta is also B Corp certified, which means it balances purpose and profit and is required to consider the impact of decisions on workers, customers, suppliers, community and the environment, according to CBL.
