Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum is launching a new fundraiser tonight to usher in the new year — and the TVRM’s 50th anniversary — with Glitz & Glam.
Glitz & Glam is a dinner train ride to The Mill event hall, where guests will have three hours to dance to the big-band music of Sweet Georgia Sound.
Party options offer guests the choice of attending just the dance with hors d’oeuvres at the Mill ($45 per person), riding the train to The Mill for the party ($65 per person) or catching the train and enjoying dinner in the 1924 vintage dining car on the way to The Mill ($125 per person).
According to TVRM officials, the train is scheduled to depart Grand Junction tonight at 8:30, arriving at The Mill about 45 minutes later.
