The newest Tennessee state park, at McDonald Farm in Sale Creek, has its new name.

The park, the state’s 70th, will be dubbed Angel’s Hollow State Park, a personal choice by Gov. Bill Lee and first lady Maria Lee, according to a press release Tuesday.

Angel’s Hollow is set to be dedicated Nov. 6, the first day of the Hamilton County Fair.

The park will include around 1,300 of the more than 2,000 acres at McDonald Farm and will span both Hamilton and Rhea counties.
