The Enterprise Center is set to host the first Chattanooga AI Summit to join business and nonprofit leaders with tech experts to discuss challenges and opportunities with integrating artificial intelligence.

The event, themed “Human First, AI Next,” is planned for Dec. 3 at Erlanger Park. The Enterprise Center is a nonprofit focused on increasing tech literacy and digital skills for Chattanooga companies and employees, including through its signature Tech Goes Home program.

“There’s a lot of pressure on organizations to figure out AI right now, and busy business and nonprofit leaders don’t always have the time to sort through the overwhelming amount of information out there,” Sammy Lowdermilk, CEO of The Enterprise Center, said in a press release. “We want to help cut through that noise and give leaders a clearer picture of what thoughtful AI adoption could mean for their organizations.”

The all-day event will include a keynote presentation by Kate O’Neill, an author, consultant and speaker known as the “Tech Humanist.” Her presentation, called “Responsible AI Leadership: Demystifying AI for Executives,” will help leaders understand the power and limitations of the technology.
