Swedish model Beiron Andersson will visit Ambiance Models and Talent, 1096 Dayton Blvd., Saturday and Sunday to give instruction to aspiring models.
Andersson is considered one of the first male supermodels in the world. He came to the United States as an exchange student and worked as a fitness trainer in California. The gym where he worked referred him for modeling work at age 25. He said his big break was his first Guess campaign in August 1992 at age 27.
Andersson is now working behind the camera, teaching what he learned to aspiring models. At Ambiance, he will work with and photograph some of Ambiance’s new models who will be going to New York City this summer.
There are a few openings for other individuals who would like to start or update a portfolio.
The photo shoot will include three wardrobe changes, hairstyling and makeup by Hollywood makeup artist Michael Burke, wardrobe advice, studio and on-location photography, CD of all pics as well as portfolio recommendations by Ambiance Modeling director Jana Lind. The fee for this consultation is $695.
