With the installation of a 365-kilawatt solar array, USFloors in Dalton, Ga., will soon become the largest producer of solar energy in the state, according to the company.
The array will be the company’s third, bringing its total energy production to more than half a megawatt.
“We want to be an example of how a privately owned company can be part of this effort and contribute to the solution of cleaner power, generated in our country, with the resources we have available in abundance,” said the company’s president and chief executive, Piet Dossche, in a statement.
