Alabama’s Million Dollar BandFirst Tennessee Pavilion will be a sea of crimson today as the University of Alabama’s Million Dollar Band interrupts its trip to Knoxville for a noon pep rally. Saturday is game day for the Crimson Tide against the Tennessee Vols, and the Friday bus trip north traditionally includes a stop in Chattanooga to rally support among local fans and alumni. According to administrative assistant Heath Nails, the full band, all 425 members, will perform about a half-hour, focusing on “a lot of our cheers the crowd knows and can get involved in.” First Tennessee Pavilion is at 1829 Reggie White Blvd. Concessions will be available.
