Thurman’s actions unfair to school

As a local citizen I find what Rhonda Thurman is trying to do with Normal Park despicable.

Normal Park exemplifies a learning environment that we should all want our kids to be able to experience. Her effort to criminalize what the staff is doing is not only wrong, to me it calls for an investigation into whether Rhonda is actually doing the job she promised to do.

This issue should not be about politics or social standing. We all need to take a step back and see who is really affected by the decisions made. The kids are what are important here. We should want an education system that encourages learning and makes it fun while still instilling discipline and preparing the kids for life. I have never seen a school where kids want to attend classes and be in that environment more than the kids do at Normal Park.

If Rhonda was truly doing her job, she would be at schools like Normal Park seeing what really makes them so successful and implementing those programs at schools throughout the county. Not sitting on her pedestal attempting to destroy the integrity and reputation the staff has worked so hard to achieve.

Help, don’t hinder leaders

Why is America in debt?

Why has the balancing of the government budget been so hard before the recession and during this deep recession?

Everybody seems have their own conflicting opinions on why this country is in such “dire financial” conditions.

We have opposition to what President Obama is doing; in fact the opposition is so great, many people think that getting rid of the Democrats and President Obama will solve all the problems which are causing the nation’s crisis conditions. If you believe this, what caused the deep recession in 2007 and the other problems before President Obama was president?

The working people did not “set the stage” for this financial mess but have already taken the “hit” as the effects of the fraud and the greed, along with the global economy have been occurring.

Our present administration needs help in getting our country out of these inherited problems instead of being hindered in stabilizing the effects of the recession and the wars since we will have to make more sacrifices, until we get our private sector jobs back. From the way this looks, it will take a long time.
