Put Bible, prayer back in education
Now since the “people” have taken the Bible and prayer out of our education system and the culture has not improved, and young people are having more problems, why not try putting the Bible and prayer back in the education system for 30 years and see if that way does any better than the way things are now.

Is it too late to vote again?
I want to vote for Floy Pierce, John Roberts and Greg Jones for Red Bank commissioners.
I want them elected so our taxes can be raised to build a new city hall instead of a mere addition to the existing one as those other people want. Then we can name it after Floy.
I want them elected so they can get rid of those awful red light cameras, even though Floy and Greg voted to extend the contract not long ago.
I want them elected so we don’t have to see our elected officials at community events any more. Floy and Greg never attend these events anyway and will probably continue that precedent.
I want them elected so we can go back to using city resources, public works employees, and police for Floy’s annual shindig … the one that every bit of 17 people attend.
I want to vote for Pierce, Roberts and Jones but there’s a problem. I already voted for Glasscock, LeCompte and Smith. Bummer.
Can I have a do-over?

Red Bank trio are reason for mess
I find it hard to believe that anyone would vote for Greg Jones or Floy Pierce. They along with Monty Millard are the reason that Red Bank is in the mess it’s in today.
I thought that when someone was voted into office that they swore to obey all laws; this means the sunshine law also. These three commissioners, along with City Manager Chris Dorsey, met privately without informing either Ruth Jeno or Joe Glasscock, let alone the public. Anyone can tell that these people didn’t follow the law when reading about how events took place in this newspaper.
It’s time to vote for someone that won’t keep us in the dark; then maybe we’ll be rid of Mr. Dorsey also.
I also urge the new commission to think twice before electing Monty Millard as mayor.
How can Red Bank overcome all of the negative things if we keep these people in office?

Vote for Cagle in Soddy-Daisy
As a resident and teacher in the Soddy-Daisy community for 27 years, I have known Janice Cagle, who is seeking the office of commissioner in the upcoming Soddy-Daisy election. I first met Janice when she worked at a local bank, and I feel her knowledge there will be an asset to the residents when spending and managing money matters for the city.
She has been active in the works of the city in many capacities. She conducts herself in a professional manner when in the public and private eye. Her leadership style would promote a sound, solid and business representation for the community. Join me and my family as we vote for Janice Cagle in the Nov. 2 election.
