A line of communication to Notre Dame High School was opened by his predecessor last year, but new Tennessee Tech football coach Marcus Satterfield seems intent on opening a pipeline to Charles Fant’s Irish program.

Running back and defensive back Ricky Ballard and linebacker Tyler Enos committed to the Golden Eagles and will join 2015 Tech signee Anthony Flemister in time for the 2016 season – the first for Satterfield, a former assistant at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Tennessee and, most recently, resurrected Temple.

“It was great when I found out Tyler had committed to them, too. I’m really excited,” Ballard said.

“Flemister was and still is one of my best friends,” Enos said. “I was up there over the weekend, and he was my host. We have all been friends for a good while.”

The Irish will have at least three players signing scholarship papers Wednesday, and there could be a fourth.
